The purpose of these free to attend seminars is to offer visitors the opportunity to listen to the thoughts and ideas of industry experts and to have their questions answered by the people at the coal face of these topics. The two sessions will cover:
11.00am | The Challenge of Increasing Productivity & Achieving Net Zero

This seminar will involve several speakers who will be debate the hot topic of reaching Net Zero and the challenges this brings as we face a demand for improved productivity on farms. Tom Neill will offer an insight into what dairy farmers need to prepare for in the future.
1.00pm | Rural Grants & Scheme Update

This seminar will feature the new ELM schemes (The Sustainable Farming Incentive, Local Nature Recovery & Landscape Recovery), Countryside Stewardship Schemes (Higher Tier, Mid Tier and Capital Grants) and the Farming Investment Fund. We will also look at the announcement regarding the Lump Sum Exit Scheme and the opportunities for retirement from agriculture.
